Bill’s love for the mountains was the motivating force behind his move to Aspen, Colorado, where he founded Poss Architecture + Planning in 1976. As Bill’s reputation for quality design and long-lasting client relationships grew, the firm expanded into various project types, including executive conference facilities and luxury residential developments. More recently, the firm has focused on master planning and the design of golf and ski resorts, hotels, and other hospitality projects.
Today, Poss Architecture + Planning and Interior Design has established a reputation both throughout the United States and abroad. Bill’s design philosophy varies from project to project, depending on the physical elements and the client’s needs. There is a strong commitment to regional context and landscape integration within the architectural design of all projects. Bill takes a personal interest in every Poss Architecture + Planning and Interior Design project and works closely with each project team to ensure a seamless product and service.
