Jamie Marchini began her architectural journey at the University of Florida, where she earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in architectural design. During this time, she gained a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of design, including the study of space, form, systems, and context. She came to appreciate the immense value of architecture to society and recognized how it serves as the defining element that connects the landscape and other contextual influences with the cultural and social environment. Through her studies, she learned to envision architecture both abstractly and creatively.

Jamie continues to tell stories through her architectural designs, translating them into the built form. She has worked on a wide range of projects including healthcare, education, office, and most recently hospitality. Her experience at Olson Kundig shaped her career in ski resorts and mountain architecture, including hotels, condos, and single-family residences.

Outside of work, Jamie is involved in various movement activities, such as acrobatic yoga, handstands, skiing, backpacking, and paddleboarding. Her downtime includes reading, watching documentaries, and socializing with friends.
